Overview
The cottage is on Paint Lake, about 6 kms southwest of Dorset in Muskoka. This relatively quiet lake offers a great blend of paddling, fishing, swimming and boating. Nearby in Dorset there are many conveniences including a grocery store, LCBO, shopping, an ice cream stand and restaurants. The cottage has four bedrooms and two full bathrooms with a walk out basement. It comes fully equipped with all the necessities and a few toys to help you enjoy your vacation.
Outside Cottage Pictures
The property slopes gently down to the water's edge to a sandy beach with an L-shaped dock. The waterfront is perfect for kids of all ages. Smaller ones will appreciate the shallow, sandy bottom waterfront which extends about 15 feet from shore, while bigger ones can jump off the end of the dock to 5+ feet of water. The large dock is ideal for relaxing in the Muskoka chairs while keeping an eye on kids or enjoying the beautiful view. Evenings are made special by gathering around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows and gazing at the many stars. We love to take pictures and show them to the world.
Inside Cottage Pictures
The 4-bedroom cottage has a walk out basement and a large deck that wraps around 2 sides of the main level. The lower level has two sliding doors for direct access to the lake. The main level has an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen along with three bedrooms and a 3-piece bathroom. The kitchen has a fridge, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher and double sink. One bedroom has a king size bed, another has a queen and the last has a single over double bunk bed. The lower-level features two sliding doors that walkout to the lake. It is also where you’ll find the fourth bedroom with a single over queen bunk bed, a 4-piece bathroom, laundry room with stacked washer & dryer and rec room with couch and ping pong table.
